Your Role

The Analyst is responsible for creating compelling solutions for clients by facilitating client discovery sessions, gaining a deep understanding of clients’ issues and challenges. Using this understanding and a comprehensive knowledge of Sundog’s services, this person will be able to lead the Sundog project teams in the development of integrated marketing and technology solutions for our clients.

  • Facilitate the client discovery process to gain a complete understanding of clients’ issue and challenges thereby developing insights critical to building trust, credibility, and a long-term relationship with each client.
  • Critically evaluate and synthesize client’s issues and opportunities into recommendations that clearly lay out customer, business, and marketing strategies including but not limited to CRM, lead management, campaign management, and customer insights in order to maximize client business/marketing objectives.
  • Describe and communicate the value of a project, both its benefits and costs in terms and scenarios relevant to each client’s situation, in order to obtain client’s leadership team support, and approval of the recommendation(s).
  • Serve as the conduit between the customer community (internal and external customers) and the implementation team through which requirements flow, including recommending strategic and tactical changes to the project to maximize performance as needed.
  • Expand the organization’s consulting capacity to drive Sundog’s future growth by refining best-in-class systems, principles, and processes with which to engage prospective clients.
  • Increase the consulting skills of staff through mentoring and coaching within specific client engagements as well as other training related opportunities.

What you bring to the Sundog table

  • Bachelor’s degree in Management Information Systems, Business, Marketing, or related discipline; MBA or related advanced degree preferred.
  • 7 to 10 years work experience in consulting or cross-functional business disciplines.
  • Proven ability to successfully engage in multiple initiatives simultaneously.
  • Working knowledge of marketing strategy, website solutions, and CRM.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to interact professionally with a diverse group of executives, managers, and subject matter experts through the discovery and relationship-building process.
  • Superior critical and analytical thinking, marketing, and technical skills required with the ability to synthesize customers’ marketing and technology needs into strategic and operational requirements.
  • Must be able to handle stressful situations and tight deadlines, learn quickly, and maintain a positive, professional attitude in all situations.
  • Build collaborative relationships with Sundog colleagues and mentor associates to grow organizational capability.
