Web Developer
Your Role
As a Web Developer, you are responsible for creating marketing-focused websites and applications using current web standards. Working closely with Architects, Software Engineers, Designers, and Project Managers, you are passionate about developing cutting-edge solutions using cloud-based technologies that are accessible through various interfaces including web, mobile, and tablet.

- You are methodical and organized, comfortably managing multiple projects and priorities
- You are talented at explaining complex topics clearly and concisely to colleagues and clients
- You are a developer at heart and demonstrate proficiency with HTML 5, CSS 3, JavaScript, Ajax, jQuery, SQL and one or more server-side languages such as PHP, Python, Ruby, Java, C#, C++, and/or Apex
- You have a good eye for design, layout, and effective user interfaces, and you are just as comfortable with Photoshop as you are with a text editor
- You have the background and experience to be successful, including a bachelor’s degree (or equivalent training/experience) and at least two years of professional experience developing online solutions
- You are a self-starter with the ability to work both independently and as part of a team
- You know how to build great software and understand the development lifecycle including functional & technical specification, documentation, QA processes, source control (SVN), maintenance, continuous integration, and deployment
- You have excellent written and verbal communication skills
- You have a sense of humor and a work-hard/play-hard mindset
Additional Desired Experience
- Experience in a professional consulting organization
- Experience with email marketing tools (ExactTarget, Constant Contact, EmailLabs)
- Experience with CRM software (Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics, Siebel, SAP)
- Knowledge of enterprise systems, CRM, SFA, ERP
- Experience with cloud-based platforms such as Force.com, Microsoft Azure, Google App Engine, Amazon S3/EC2/CloudFront
- Experience with the Force.com platform including objects, workflows, formulas, etc.
- Experience with Apex and Visualforce programming languages as well as the Force.com data model and APIs
- Experience with mobile development on iOS, Android, and/or WP7
A Bit More Information
- Open to travel – Often, we will use video and web conferencing technologies to bridge geographic distances, but you may need to visit clients on-site. A Web Developer should be available to travel for short trips, typically less than two days a month.
