Can Google Come Out to Play?

If you are developing Web 2.0 software, you owe it to yourself to check out Google’s Ajax API Playground. This amazing little tool provides web developers with working code examples for every Ajax application programming interface (API) that Google offers. But that’s not all…

Google AJAX API Playground

All of the APIs are grouped by type, including translation, maps, RSS feeds, calendars, YouTube, and of course, search. You can modify and test the HTML and JavaScript code right on the site, viewing the output in the same browser window. Plus, it includes an integrated Firebug debugger with breakpoints, a handy export feature, and links to full documentation on every API call.

There are many nice touches that make things easy for the developer, such as line numbers, code syntax coloring, and a built-in API search box to help you find the exact feature you need to get your web application out the door more quickly. Thanks, Google.
