So there’s an inherent flaw with Apple’s Bonjour service that, among other things, allows for quick sharing and setup of shared printers over a network: it won’t talk across VLANs. So if your network has different VLAN segments, printers (and computers) in one, can’t use Bonjour to talk to computers in another.

Here’s a way I’ve found to fix this headache.
