March 26, 2012: Getting Culture Right
Hundreds of books and thousands of articles are written about corporate culture – from how to define it, design it and improve it, to how to survive it, change it and lead it. Culture is a tricky thing, and when it starts to go bad in the eyes of the employee(s), something like this can happen.
But other companies like Google, Facebook and Zappos continually redefine the idea of office, work and career. They’re getting culture right. In fact, Zappos is so dedicated to its culture and core purpose of “Delivering Happiness” that the company has a bus tour and website to promote it.
August 22, 2011: What an Honor
When the North Dakota Young Professionals (NDYP) chose Sundog as the “Best Place to Work in North Dakota” earlier this year, we were thrilled. And we continue to be proud of the honor.
Now our distinctive company culture is being noticed throughout our industry. Sundog has been named to Advertising Age magazine’s list of Best Places to Work. We’re among 30 companies featured in the August 22 print edition and you can find the full list on their website.

In the end, however, while an individual may be blessed with the perfect DNA for athletic prowess, or the intellectual capacity for leadership greatness, neither do much good without one simple, inextricable characteristic of any great athlete or leader – passion.
