March 29, 2012: Responsive or Mobile?
When making a responsive website isn’t currently possible, mobile websites can serve as great in-between point and provide a great start to creating a responsive website in the future.
November 21, 2011: Learning HTML and CSS one line of code at a time
I spend a lot of my time designing websites and working with developers to make them functional. When talking to developers about what design limitations I have, I think it is important for me to understand their explanations. I have learned a lot by working side by side with developers over the past 4 years, but I always want to learn more.
November 04, 2011: mediaqueri.es
I’d like to take a moment to mention one of my favorite sites right now, mediaqueri.es. I pretty much visit this site daily. On mediaqueri.es there are some great examples of responsive web design.
August 31, 2011: Content First
In early August I attended An Event Apart in Minneapolis. As I was looking back to my tweets during that time I found this gem:

Responsive web design refers to a website that is developed and designed to adapt to the screen resolution of the device the website is being viewed on. Instead of designing different versions of websites for different devices (computers, mobile phones, tablets, etc.) you create one site that adapts to all.

With the 2011 Fargo Marathon fast approaching, many of us at Sundog are preparing to run. I’ll be honest with you: I am not a fan of running. In fact, I would say that this race might mark the end of my short-lived running career.
March 31, 2011: Creating a Positive Mobile Experience
I received my first smart phone in January at the Sundog holiday party where they surprised us all with a Samsung Fascinate. Now that I have a smart phone, I don’t think I would ever be able to go without one. In fact, I don’t know how I made it as long as I did without one. It is never more than a foot away from me.
