2012 IT Resolutions

Here are my IT resolutions for 2012. Maybe your IT staff could benefit from some of them:

1. Fully test our backups - from tape to fully working server… not just a file or two
2. Move our Voicemail provider off-site to Google Voice
3. Document more processes for future and other people’s reference
4. Virtualize more physical servers to decrease server room space and power requirements
5. Don’t be crabby at people when they interrupt in-depth work :)
