Facebook Continues to Roll Out Changes Thursday

Facebook is constantly evolving to better suit the needs of its users. In order to stay in front of the competition, the company will model themselves after the ever-changing fashion world, as referenced in The Social Network. As fashion goes in and out of style constantly changing, Facebook will constantly change and evolve. At the Facebook F8 developers’ conference last week, CEO, Mark Zuckerberg announced several significant changes coming to Facebook. One in particular will take place on personal profile pages, a new look called Timeline. This profile redesign is posted by Mashable to roll out this Thursday. The changes will be open to the public October 4th. So far, these changes only impact the personal profile but have not heard anything about business pages.

With Facebook, and technology as a whole, change is inevitable. My word of advice is to try to embrace it; especially when it comes to something you choose to be a part of for no cost.

Below you can read all about the updates from the Mashable links below.

“Consistency in both functionality and appearance is really important to Facebook,” a Facebook rep tells Mashable, “so we hope to make Pages more consistent with the new Timeline in the future.”
