A Billboard Designed From Plants

This 60-by-60 foot plant billboard, located in the Philippines, is giving something back. The Fukien tea plant design absorbs air pollutants and offers a visually appealing alternative to traditional outdoor advertising. According to botanist Anthony Gao, on average, each plant can absorb up to 13 pounds of carbon dioxide in one year. Given the number of plants used, this billboard will absorb a total of 46,800 pounds of carbon dioxide from the atmosphere.
