A radio ad that can dial a phone number.
Last month I blogged about Radio with Images; an integrated radio and mobile campaign done for IKEA. How about a radio campaign that integrates your landline phone?
The following campaign was executed by agency THEY for Hotel Arena. Hotel Arena is a hotel in Amsterdam with a restaurant, bar and nightclub. The goal of this campaign was to increase bookings at its restaurant while creating overall brand awareness.
To make it easy for people to make reservations, agency THEY came up with the idea to make a radio spot that broadcasts DTMF (dual-tone multi-frequency), tones that communicate a phone number to a landline phone.
Creative? Yes. Practical? I don’t think so. While I do still have a landline phone, The only time I listen to the radio is when I am in my vehicle.
