A Little “Buzz” About The Motorola Tablet

With CES 2011 just over two weeks away, Motorola offers us a little teaser to get our blood pumping for both the highly anticipated Motorola Android table and the Android Honeycomb OS…

While the teaser tells us very little of the device itself, it takes a friendly jab at the Samsung Galaxy Tab (Android OS… but Android OS for a phone) and a not so friendly jab at the iPad (It’s like a giant iPhone, but… it’s like a giant iPhone). What we do know is that the tablet will come with video chat, sport a dual core 3D processor, and will run Android 2.4, aka “Honeycomb”, which is expected to be optimized for tablets. Honeycomb is expected to be out in February 2011, which would put the Motorola Tablet sometime in late Q1 or early Q2.

Google’s Andy Rubin showed off the device during his D: Dive Into Mobile interview. It looks bigger than the Galaxy, but smaller than the iPad. Additional photos have surfaced showing the device with the telltale Verizon logo on it. But that is about all we know about it for now…
