Google TV: Coming This Fall to a Television Set Near You.

According to Nielsen, 4 billion people across the world watch TV and the average American spends five hours per day in front of one. However, with the rise of broadband connections and mobile phone usage, many are searching and watching content via the web; but the web lacks the high quality viewing that you get while watching your television set. Google has set out to combine the two by launching Google TV.

What is it?
Google TV combines the TV you know and love and your web browser all in one. Google TV uses search to give you an easy and fast way to navigate television channels, websites, apps, shows and movies and more.

Google is working together with Sony, Logitech and Intel to put Google TV inside of televisions, Blu-ray players and companion boxes. These devices will be available at Best Buy nationwide this fall.
