Interactive Motion Graphics for Your Next Trade Show

Interactive motion graphics can add amazing effects to your next trade show booth. Below are three companies and examples of their work:

GestureTek
Based in Sunnyvale, CA, GestureTek produces customized products specifically for trade shows. Their interactive kiosk for Ford Motor Company at the North American Auto Show encourages visitors to use their hands to interact with onscreen images and then see those images on large holographic screens.

GestureTek’s IlluminateDisplay uses gesture recognition technology and motion control software in a large wall format. It recognizes the person’s hand position to interact with the display. Their 11’ x 8’ interactive wall display for the Visitor Center at Hellisheidi Hydrothermo Power Plant in Iceland is truly amazing.

Snibbe Interactive
This San Francisco-based company produces a number of interactive products, most notable for trade show applications is the SocialMirror. The Body Mirror example mimics motion of the person standing in front of the screen. Motion is picked up by a 3D camera and transferred to the screen via a computer. Cartoon characters, movie characters and animals can all be mimicked by this incredible system.

Flightphase
An art and design studio based in Brooklyn, Flightphase did an interactive wall for Favorite Color. Video of the viewer is rendered in a pattern of the company’s logos. The viewer can change the pattern by moving a ball in real time.
