Microsoft Follows Web Standards?
An unnofficial survey of how well high-profile tech sites meet Web standards by forevergeek results in somewhat surprising results. Of the 20+ sites currently listed, Microsoft has two (microsoft.com and msn.com) of the four that were error free. On the other end of the spectrum, C|Net defies logic with 1400+ errors while Slashdot and Yahoo! end up in the 200’s. Most of the other sites fall somewhere between one to twenty errors which isn’t too bad if you ask me. But if Microsoft is going to suddenly embrace the zero error lifestyle, I think everybody else needs to pick it up a couple notches.
