One More Thing About Radio

Even though there is some impressive growth predicted for satellite radio, there is also some heavy slogging head. XM just received much-delayed approval from the FCC for three new radios. Five more products are still out of compliance.

Also, the Recording Industry Association of America (RIAA) is suing XM Satellite saying it should be paying licensing fees for allowing users to record the music they are listening to on some of the new radios. Of course, it seems like the RIAA is suing everybody from kids to grandmas these days, so this shouldn’t be a shocker.

Sirius Satellite Radio has their problems, too.
