Show and Tell for the big boys

You Tube has long been the “go-to” place for some of the most talked about videos ads.  Now, they’ve gone to lengths to acknowledge it,  by opening the beginnings of a new gallery showcasing some of today (and yesterdays) most prolific work.  You Tube Show and Tell

In collaboration with the Art Directors Club they’ve identified a select few of the best ways YouTube has shined through ad agency work.  Eventually, I can see this site rivaling the like’s of Ad Age’s galleries, or thefwa.com as nearly any time an agency looks ot promote its portfolio-level work it ends up on YouTube.  The addition of commentary from Art Director Club judges and a cross-section of work from the popular to the obscure, leads to a to truly unique offering.  Any time you’re looking for a quick “neat video” example to show your client, I’d recommend giving this a quick look.

The site currently isn’t the encyclopedia of YouTube excellence it could be, but it’s a darn good start.  But it does promise to keep growing!
