Sundog Releases Territory Lead Routing for AppExchange
Sundog recently released a convenient application to customize the lead assignment behavior within salesforce.com’s Partner Relationship Management (PRM) application. The new app, Territory Lead Routing 1.0, is available for no charge on the AppExchange for organizations using PRM.
Territory Lead Routing for AppExchange customizes lead routing to match a sales process and team structure. Organization’s lead assignments are made automatically without manual entry or confusion. During the one-time setup process, territories, zip/postal codes, states, countries and a default salesperson are defined. Admins may also customize lead e-mails with a reply address, sender name, message header and footer, and a subject line.
As leads arrive from various sources such as a web-to-lead form on the company website, leads are captured as usual in Salesforce. Each new lead triggers the workflow that assigns that lead to contacts within a partner account based on the configurable territory rules provided by the Territory Lead Routing application. Each contact receives an email as leads are assigned to them.
The app uses the standard AppExchange process for installation, but admins may also wish to consult the customization guide for help with configuration. To get more information on Salesforce or to sign up for a free trial of salesforce.com’s flagship product, go here or contact Sundog.
